The Foundation recently became a Registered Australian Body with ASIC (Australian Securities and Investment Commission) and in-line with that registration we have re-structured how the foundation operates.
The Foundation now undertakes all operations in the following way:
Each Operational Division is managed by a director of the Foundation who assists either a volunteer or deputy division commander and is responsible for the following roles and tasks within each division.
PREPAREDNESS
This Division is responsible for the Foundation’s preparedness works and projects, such as the Home Bushfire Preparedness Program, Landcare Fire Wise Projects and other community partnerships that relate to improving and enhancing community preparedness.
RECOVERY
This Division is responsible for the Foundation’s recovery works within the community, such as our Home Bushfire Recovery Program and other related tasks.
ANIMAL RELIEF
This Division is responsible for the Foundation’s Animal Disaster Relief Services, such as the Community Animal Relief directory, Community Animal Relief Teams and Animal Disaster Relief Food-banks.
PLANNING
This Division is responsible for all of the Foundation’s current and future planning in relation to expansion, project development and services.
STATE OPERATIONS
This Division is responsible for all of the Foundation’s individual, state-based coordination in relation to all of the above.
